Dubrovnik Local photographer plans the Surprise Proposal

Proposals are such an important part of relationships. They represent the start to the next step in a relationship and a plan to start a marriage. Since this is such an important moment, Yoann knew that this had to be done right. So a surprise proposal in Dubrovnik is the perfect way to do that. But how to organize it and plan it in a town you never visited before? Nafi and Yoann met in Paris, where they currently live.

After some time dating, Yoann was ready to pop the question in a surprise proposal in Dubrovnik. Yoann knows how important marriage is to Nafi, so he proposed, wanted to make sure that this special moment in their relationship was captured and they could celebrate for years to come.

After some planning, Yoann contacts me to photograph this surprise proposal while the two are on vacation in Dubrovnik. I watch the two stroll alongside the water through the viewfinder of my camera. I watch Yoann drop to one knee and ask for Nafi’s hand in marriage. Once they have their special moment together, I come to them to finally meet in person and we do a session to celebrate this occasion.

Since I am a Dubrovnik local photographer who knows all the beautiful spots in town, I take Yoann and Nafi to some of my favorite places right around where Yoann proposed.
